Moonriver Lodge (MRL) is located in Lojing, Kelantan. We are 12km (10 minutes) from Cameron Highlands.

Direct flight : Fireflyz from Singapore Budget Terminal (approx 1-1.5 hr)

If you are coming from Kuala Lumpur
Sorry! There are no direct flights but you can take a coach or train.
Coach transfer from KLIA /LCCT – IPOH : Yoyo Bus, StarShuttle
If you are driving from the North-South Highway, Malaysia
- Exit at Simpang Pulai, turn right to drive towards Ipoh
- Look out for turning on right to Cameron Highlands at traffic light junction.
- Follow road up (45mins) towards Blue Valley, Lojing & Gua Musang direction.
- DO NOT TURN RIGHT INTO CAMERON HIGHLANDS AT THE INTERSECTION.
- From intersection, drive on for another 10-15mins (12.6km). You will pass the Blue Valley farms, giant strawberry on left and a huge signboard of the Sultan of Kelantan on your right.
- Continue straight on. Please keep on the highway.
- Look out for our TWO signages to Moonriver Lodge (Two dancing rabbits)
- Slow down when you pass the “Pejabat Tanah” signage on left after you cross Sungai Belatop.
- You will see a small Moonriver Lodge signage on the left side of the road (From Ipoh).
- There’s a dirt track road turning up a private property on left with a barrier.
- Drive up that road for < 2 mins and you’re HERE!

- Contact us in advance to arrange.
- For groups, coach or van shuttle can be arranged.
- For the individuals, taxis are at ~ Rm140/car one-way.
- The cheapest option – take a public bus (Kurnia Bestari) from Medan Gopeng Bus Terminal, Ipoh to Tanah Rata. Alight at Kampung Raja and we can arrange shuttle service. Bus ticket costs ~RM10-15/one way.

What would you recommend as accommodation for 2 adults and 2 kids? MRL has different types of rooms, so would really appreciate your help on this. We’d also like to have privacy for the family. Travel dates 4-6 February 2011
Also, what cuisine can be expected for guest who opt for meals at MRL? Are guests allowed to cook? If we’d like to have a BBQ, should we bring our own supplies/ingredients from KL or buy in CH/Lojing?
