Hello, I am finishing up graduate studies in water resource management and community planning this month, and I will be coming to Asia to teach a graduate-level course in Sustainable Economic Development in India for students from my university for June and July (www.unmindia.com) We are focusing on agroforestry, gender roles in sustainable economic development and water management in rural areas in Karnataka, India. Please see the link if you have a chance.

After I finish my work in India, I am very interested in visiting your center and learning more about water management, local food production, local irrigation systems and your sustainable development programs. I have experience in rural irrigation systems, rural sanitation systems, and I have experience working with adobe (mud) building. I live in an adobe house and I would like to know about adobe techniques in Asia, in areas where there is more rain.

I will be in Asia until the beginning of December, so I have ample time to visit. I would like to know if you are open to a visit where I may learn about your programs. Between August and December I also plan to visit Vietnam, Cambodia, Borneo, Laos, and Thailand and am interested in learning about local water management, sustainable food production and irrigation systems in those countries as well.
