The course is targeted for those who want deeper understanding of Malaysia’s natural heritage in relation to conservation. Technical topics like ecology, biodiversity, carbon sequestration and climate changes shall be covered to improve participants’ quality of thinking and to match global conservation trends. Practical sessions will be held through outdoor and jungle trek assignment to give participants the hands-on feel.
This course will be led by Casey Ng, 41, experienced naturalist who is based in Ipoh, Malaysia. His writings and photojournalism works are featured in regional magazines, New Straits Times, LexisNexis.com, Encyclopedia.com and Highbeam.com.
