Too soon for corn ears

The harvest for fresh cobs takes about seventy five to eighty days after planting. Check for maturity when the corn ears feel full and the silks are brown.

Did you know that as soon as you harvest corn, the sugars in the kernels begins to turn to starch, making the corn less sweet as time goes by? I didn’t, hence this tip is from Organic Gardening for DUMMIES!
