Limestone Trekker Version 2

Version 2 – to capture as much the people as essence of the moments.
A song, inspired by The Bucky Groups’ Moonriver Lodge stay

LIMESTONE TREKKER sung to the tune of RHINESTONE COWBOY

I’ve been Bucking these Steeps so long
Singing the same old songs
I know every crack in these high Trails of Brinchang

Where “Togok” is the name of Ron’s Game
And nice guys  get “tampok tampok” again
There’s been a load of compromising
on the road to my own haven

But I’m gonna be where the Air is crispy and free
Like a Limestone Trekker
Striding out with their rods in the Steeps in these Limestone Lands
Like a Limestone Trekker
Getting pats and cheers from MoonRiver Men
and there’s offers of  strawberries and scones

Well I really haven’t rested the aches away
As the night brings relief from the sway
Or when your feet blistered like Maaay’s
Option 3 on the waaay

There beens a load of compromising
on the treks to my own “haven”
But I gonna be where the breathes are crispy and clean
Like a Limestone Trekker,
Striding out with their rods in the streams
in these Limestone Lands
Like a Limestone Trekker
Getting pats and cheers, from the MoonRiver Band
and offers of foot massage coming over the phone

Now, I really don’t mind last night’s rain
Treks are muddy,  I’ll rest from the pain
When you’re feet blistered like Maaay’s
Then option 3 is the waaay
there’s been a load of compromising
on the road to Mossy “heaven”
But I’m gonna be where Mossy are misty and free
Like a Limestone Trekker
Striding out with their rods in the Steeps of these Limestone lands
Like A Limestone Trekker
Getting pats and cheers from Billie and PK’s hands
and Bucky Steamboat soothes all stomachs and bones
Like a Limestone Trekker
Like a Limestone Trekker……
