Making jam is a wonderful and satisfying activity. Instead of juicing our passionfruits as usual, we decided to make some jam since we had barrels of fruit available. Hard work to cut and scoop out the pulp!
We made our first batch of jam – just fruit and sugar (controlled amount) and bottled them into 7 jars. The results? A heavenly and rich fruit jam with whole pips as we did not have a blender available at the Lodge at that time. All jars were given away to close friends and family and some shared with Guests present at the Special Families workshop!Purchase requests should mean that it was not a bad first try, right?!?
