Making doughnuts with Chef Grace

Last week, Moonriver Lodge had the privilege of  hosting a group of children and teachers from Saxon Conservatoire for their 6 days and 5 nights holiday camp. On one of the days, we at Moonriver Lodge held a cooking demo for the group. Chef Grace decided to let the children have fun with making doughnuts.

The children turned out to be more creative than the adults when it came to decorating their doughnuts. They decorated the doughnuts as enthusiastically as they ate them. We made more than 50 doughnuts but before we knew it, most of the doughnuts had made their way into eager tummies. In the end, we only had a tray of the pretty doughnuts left to show.

And the beautifully decorated doughnuts are ready!

What’s left of the beautifully decorated doughnuts!
