The Seminar includes tours to other farms so that the participants can compare different hydroponic systems used in the Cameron Highlands. They get to witness typical farming practices that have been going on for years. Indiscriminate use of pesticides, uncontrolled nutrient run‐off into the environment and dumping of spent grow bags in the open spaces are just some examples of undesired farming habits currently practiced.
